We will also hear from Zhuzhu Zhang, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Genetics and the Neuroscience Institute, and the SET Center’s 2024 Pilot Grant awardee. Dr. Zhang will discuss her project researching the epigenetic underpinnings of neural circuitry maturation during postnatal brain development.

The SET Center will launch it’s 2025 Pilot Grant during the symposium. The SET Center will also provide more information about its new mini grants, in amounts up to $5,000. Attendees will have the opportunity during the final portion of the program to network with other UChicago researchers.
